How Pricing Works
You submit a service request.
The system calculates a recommended minimum (distance-based).
A responding partner reviews the job.
The partner submits their final price.
You see the confirmed offer before accepting.
Dispatch begins only after your explicit approval.
Recommended Minimum Guidance
The system provides distance-based guidance to partners. This is advisory, not enforced.
• Industry average per-mile reference
• Distance from partner to pickup
• Distance from pickup to destination
• Return-mile adjustment after 30 miles
This calculation assists partners in setting fair pricing. It does not determine the final price.
Partner Pricing Control
Partners retain full control over their submitted price.
Robelium does not impose fixed pricing.
No forced rates. No hidden overrides.
Customer Confirmation
You always see the confirmed offer before accepting.
Nothing proceeds without your confirmation.
If additional services are identified on-site, they require separate confirmation.
Price Adjustments
In certain situations, additional work or changes in service requirements may require a price update.
If this happens, the updated price will always be shown to you for confirmation before the job continues.
No adjustments are applied without your explicit approval.
Cancellation Terms
You may cancel your request at any time before a partner begins travel.
If a partner has been dispatched and 5 minutes have passed since confirmation, a £50 cancellation charge may apply to cover time and allocation.
All charges are shown clearly before confirmation.
Dispatch timing is structured to ensure fairness for both customers and partners.
Platform Commission Structure
Robelium applies a progressive and proportionate tiered commission model to completed jobs.
Commission is calculated on the service value (excluding VAT, if applicable).
• 17% on the first £500
• 12% on the portion between £500–£1,000
• 8% on any amount above £1,000
This model is progressive and proportionate.
There are no sudden jumps or penalties when crossing thresholds. Only the portion above each level is charged at the lower rate.
VAT Clarification
Commission is applied to the service value.
If a partner is VAT registered, VAT is handled according to UK tax regulations.
If a partner is not VAT registered, no VAT is added.
Robelium does not apply commission to VAT amounts.
VAT handling does not change the commission structure.
Pricing Stability
Robelium does not apply platform-driven surge pricing.
Pricing is determined by partners and confirmed by customers before dispatch.
There are no automatic price multipliers applied by the platform.
